A 29.5 million rupees backhoe loader machine with accessories was donated by European Union (EU)/ Agence Francaise de Development (AFD) as a grant for the use of sewerage operation and maintenance work in the National Water Supply & Drainage Board.
According to that, the machine was handed over to the Manager (Jayawadanagama), Eng. S.N. Fernando with the participation of Additional General Manager (Water Reclamation), Eng. N.H.D.P. Dharmapala and Project Director (SHIFT) of Eng. L.K.M.C.B. Jayawardana on 01.02.2023.
