The RSC (East) was established in year 2003 to cover the distribution in the Eastern Province. Presently 71% of the population was covered by pipe born water supply where 5% of the population provided drinking water through community water supply scheme.
In the RSC (East) there are 340,000 water connection and the production of 5.5 Mn cum per month. The average billing of Eastern is Rs. 181 Mn per month.
