Mr. Deepthi U. Sumanasekara, Engineer, will start his duties as the new Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board at an auspicious time.
He started his working career as an engineer of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board and retired as the General Manager after holding various positions for nearly four decades. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board is going to celebrate half a century in the year 2025. It has been a reason for the great joy of the Water Board to come back as the chairman to take that pride forward as a distinguished professional who has carried that pride forward for half a century.
